Basic introduction

In the past decade, innovative lighting technologies such as LED (light emitting diode) have been increasingly accepted as economic and environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional bulbs. The improvement of manufacturers' and consumers' awareness has become the driving force for the further development of technological limits.

We can provide comprehensive energy efficiency testing and certification services for your lighting products according to regulatory requirements, industrial and standard requirements and your specific requirements.

New ce of lighting products

LVD and energy efficiency directives for European lighting products:

·Low Voltage Directive (2006/95/ec)

·Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive

·ERP directive 2009/125/ec

1) Non directional lamp: (EC) no 244/2009, (EC) no 859/2009

2) Fluorescent and HID lamps, ballasts and lamps containing such light sources and ballasts: (EC) no 245/2009, (EU) no 347/2010

3) Directional light: 1194/2012/eu

Energy efficiency labeling directive 2010/30/ec

Lamp and light source energy efficiency labeling directive 874/2010/eu 98/11/ec (will expire on August 31, 2013)

·Specific harmful characteristics limit the use of rhos 2.0 2011/65/eu

Energy labeling of electrical lamps and luminaries

Energy efficiency label 874/2012/eu

On September 1, 2013, light sources and lamps must be labeled according to the requirements of 874/2012/eu.

Applicable product range:

(a) Incandescent lamp;

(b) Fluorescent lamp;

(c) HID lamp;

(d) LED lights and modules;

(e) Lamps using light sources (a) - (d).

Life performance (expected life)

Methods from the initial (0 hours) to 6000 hours, the luminous flux and color were measured every 1000 hours, and the life span was calculated when the luminous flux was 70% of the initial value.

Test item: survival rate of color drift maintained by luminous flux

Premature switch failure

Lamp / lamp system ecological design requirements

European ERP directive 2009/125/ec

1) Non directional lamp: (EC) no 244/2009, (EC) no 859/2009

Applicable to: light sources whose luminous flux is less than 80% of the total luminous flux within a solid angle of 120 degrees.

Products covered include: non directional LED light source, incandescent lamp, tungsten halogen lamp, self ballasted fluorescent lamp.

2) Fluorescent and HID lamps, ballasts and lamps containing such light sources and ballasts: (EC) no 245/2009, (EU) no 347/2010

Applicable to: fluorescent tubes without integrated ballasts, hid bulbs, fluorescent ballasts, HID Ballasts, fluorescent lamps and HID lamps.

3) Directional light: 1194/2012/eu

Applicable to: (a) directional light source; (b) LED light source; (c) Equipment installed between mains power and light source, including light source controller, control device and lamp

(excluding ballast, fluorescent lamp and hid lamp); Products that use items (a) - (c) above in other products.
